A Paulina Street Original
After living in a two flat apartment building on Paulina Street for 45 years, Mama and Daddy Hamby decided to start anew and tear down/rebuild. The stars aligned. Our current building went up for sale and we made the long trek all the way across the street into our current humble abode. It had a bar in the basement and lo and behold, HambySmith was born.
Over time, I've grown more and more in love with this little basement bar. Now filled with a collection of articles, antiques, and most importantly, memories, gifted to me by many of my guests, my friends, my family, it means all that much more to me. I love to have you. It is my happy place. You, my loved ones, are my happy place. Thank you and come again and again! I am always happy to feed you, physically, emotionally when I can, whatever the need. Oh, and if you'll throw back a few with me, all the better!
